Sliding Rock is tucked in among the natural hardwoods of western North Carolina. Located near Brevard, North Carolina, in the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock is a 60' natural rock slide with a 6-7 foot deep pool at the base. During the heat of summer, long lines of people wait for their turns to slide down the smooth rock into the chilly pool.
